Who's your Forever Friend?

For me, there's nothing more meaningful in life than close friends.  You know, the kind that put up with you and last through all seasons.  Dependable, forgiving.  Or the one where roads may separate, but hope & love remain strong.  That's an FF (forever friend).  Tell us about yours.

I have a handful of FF's (blessed!). One is Sara. Almost 20 years now... and wow has she seen me through some seasons! Up, down, all over the map. Yet her constant, simple advice: "Just don't lose your center with God." She helps me keep coming back to what matters most.

This song is close to my heart. A good Christian friend once sent me the link and some of the lyrics, and said that it was 'our song' because we are forever friends. We're going through a rough season right now - we haven't argued, but he's made some new non-Christian friends and really distanced from me. (I think he's having a rough season with God right now, too). I try to keep in touch, and he rarely responds to my attempts. I miss him and pray for him and still consider him my FF, and hope that time will show that to be true.
